  • The Michael Zeimet Family — Family History Scan

Recovered family-history scan sent by Peter Zeimet on March 10, 2007. The transcription below preserves the wording and spelling visible in the surviving scan. One store name appears to read “Loflon” and is left as scanned rather than silently corrected. The Michael Zeimet Family Mike and Grace Zeimet lived in a little house on his… Continue reading

  • Oh, one more thing …

Morgan has officially moved into the 3’s and 4’s class (he’s basically potty trained now — the big pre-req for the move) and won’t be 3 until April 15 — Tyler on the other hand almost skipped the 3’s and 4’s all-together (I think he finally got in somewhere around 3 3/4 years old). This… Continue reading

  • OK — losin’ it

If it is Spring I must be working much too hard to launch another website under tight deadlines — and I’m losin’ it. This time it is the virtual tech fair at work. It’s gotten to the point where I’m promising Fat Mama’s Knock You Naked Margarita Mix to my vendors to help me out… Continue reading

She offered to acquire a copy if I… Continue reading

  • Peter Zeimet Corrects the Family Story

Recovered family correspondence — March 5, 2007. While reviewing Danielle’s draft family-history introduction, Peter Zeimet corrected part of the story. You are good with words. I somehow do not remember the “she fell in love with the milkman”. She married the milkman and Jim Solomon was a patient in the hospital and he married the… Continue reading

About Me

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week.  Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
