Life With Boys

The mis-adventures of two crazy boys and their bleary eyed parents.

I asked the boy to play elf …

Life with boys … earlier today I asked the boy to play elf since I am still on couch surfing restriction … upon his return he came in with tales of barely paved roads and being trapped in a junglish-ish area … “Mom, there were all of these no trespassing signs and it was dark and scary and I was worried I was going to get ‘country shot’ not ‘driving in the hood shot’ … I got stuck and there was mud and all these ruts … and I sat there for at least five minutes trying to figure out how to get out … and I was hungry and grumpy … so I gunned it in reverse and escaped” … Me: “where in the world were you?” … Him: “Delivering the red one … I put the address in the GPS and went” … I am most perplexed so to Google maps I go … “ok, walk me through this … show me where you think you went” … yeah, looks like the GPS led him a merry dance down one of those non-roads that many of us would have probably bypassed … but in his words, “I would probably drive off a cliff if the GPS told me to” … yeah, the apple did not fall from this tree …

About Me

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week.  Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
