Life with boys … if this cookie sheet could talk, the tales it could tell … so many lessons learned … stories of minor/major cooking disasters that may have ended in fire (note to parents, send them with a fire extinguisher – everyone was fine, the fire department may have made an appearance) … it might tell of the time the boy almost fell for a gift card fraud scam, but was scared to call home because he thought he would be arrested … or maybe about the time the dorm dryer stopped turning and instead just melted all the clothes into a burnt mass (an expensive lesson was learned that day about load size and pay by the load laundry)… perhaps of the heart breaks and comfort food pot pies … of finals stress and struggle meals … of two boys trying valiantly to find their place in the world … and now it is off on another adventure this week … ready to do battle with ovens that sometimes work … and so many frozen pizzas …
