Life With Boys

The mis-adventures of two crazy boys and their bleary eyed parents.

Taking the ACT With a Broken Hand

When we started looking for ACT tutoring for Morgan, I had to explain that his first score probably needed a little context.

“You should note he broke his hand two days before the test and was doing it with his non-dominant hand, so the test was a bit of a disaster.”

Because apparently taking the ACT is not stressful enough on its own.

We set up tutoring for the next attempt, working around wrestling practice and the possibility that he might make it to state again.

July 29 update: The next ACT went much better. I sent Morgan’s tutor a quick note: “Morgan did much better this time around! Thanks for your help.”

About Me

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week.  Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
