This morning’s email arrived two minutes before class:
“My phone charger apparently broke last night because my phone did not charge and died. This resulted in my alarm not working and I’m currently sitting in Waterloo and class starts in 2 minutes.”
Long story short: no, he was not making it to the exam on time.
He was extremely embarrassed.
I was mostly impressed by the geographic specificity.
