Barbara wrote: “Speaking of family history….Bill’s other grandpa, Grandpa Jencks (“Opa”) did the diamond setting on this ring and Oma had it in her jewelry collection. Billy changed out the stone to a 1 carat, but it’s nice that it’s still in the family. Lovely ring. *B.”
The original email includes a photograph of the ring, IMG_0578.jpg. Preserve the image with this provenance note so the ring can be identified later if it resurfaces in the family collection.
