and it had been repaired to the point they will not come out again. Whirpool is off the list now for me. The combo was over two grand delivered and the dryer has already malfunctioned, as well. I am NOT spending $1000 a year on washing equipment. It cost me $11 to get the wringer fixed. For now, that is good enough. The washer with no water in it would SPIN PLASTIC DUST.......so I realize how badly it was disintegrating. We washed some things that frankly were stained and would not come clean...............THEY ARE SPOTLESS with the wringer. I read up on them and the tup configuration being wide and not as deep emulsifies water and dirt together better. My job ended in December and paying for some garbage washing machine right now is not on the list - pz
