Tom finishes his homework, and calls Sam to ask “Can you play?” “No I still have homework.” “What? We only got spelling home work.” “I finished that, but my parents gave me some.” This happens a lot even during the summer, the time of no homework.
Homework causes a lot of grief with many people. Parents and teachers give unreasonable amounts of homework and people get stressed out. Being accused you of not doing your homework by a part is very aggravating. Also parents say their way is best when your way also works to. This happens mostly with math.
