Life With Boys

Life with boys … if the boy is going to be living at home for bit then he should probably unpack the boxes that have followed him around for four years … and if he is going to get any vitamin d from the sun then he will need to work above ground for a few hours each day … and if there is going to be computer space upstairs then he will need a bigger desk that can accommodate monitors and drawing pads and maybe a file cabinet … and if you add a bigger desk then a smaller dresser will be required … leading to the shift of not one, not two, but three heavy dressers … and if he is going to spend more time in his room he will need a light that is more than 40 watts … and if you change out one fan light then we should probably make sure the other bedrooms have fans that match (if you are counting we are now at 3 new fans) … and since we are moving furniture then we should probably get a bed that is actually long enough to accommodate his now more than 6 foot tall frame and has some storage … and now that we are thinking about storage we should clear some room for the games collection … and to make room for the games then we will need to clear out the closets and decide what will stay and what will go … and while we are moving stuff around the dvds and books will need to move too (yeah, I still like physical media) … and four trips to charity and many boxes to half price books later the room is almost to a place where an adult-ish boy can continue to job search, develop his portfolio and figure out what comes next … anyone need a desk? … and if you need me I will be in the basement sorting legos …
