Christmas 2020 came with a little family correspondence that captured exactly where we were at the end of a very strange year.
Jo wrote after our Christmas package arrived. She thanked us for the water bottles, tea and the MGF Santa sign, which she said would get hung “as many years as I can hobble around.” She also asked for an update on how the college freshman was doing.
I wrote back:
We have several of those water bottles – they work for hot and cold … and as long as you do not launch them across the Boy Scout camp they will last for a long time. 🙂 and the wrapping is mostly because I really suck at wrapping and it never ships well 🙂
I meant to make the sign a million years ago, but this year I finally got to it!
Thank you for the gift card … Matt has become quite the chef this year … which is just fine with me!
College freshman ended his first COVID semester with a 3.8 GPA … we are very proud … now for 7 Mostar semesters (if we are lucky) …
