In the middle of the strange Class of 2020 graduation season, Barbara sent Mindy and me an old photograph she had finally located.
Her note was simple:
“Feels ‘too late’ to post this on fb when it was going around, but since you guys have graduates and since located it, I’ll share with you guys…1970.”
The attachment was an old black-and-white senior-style portrait from 1970 — a graduation image resurfacing fifty years later, just as another generation was trying to figure out what graduation looked like in 2020.
