Tyler’s art teacher asked to include one of his pieces in the end-of-year district art show at the Foundry Art Centre.
“You have a lot of strong work … Congrats! You did excellent work and you deserve the recognition!”
Tyler brought the piece in the next morning.
Two days earlier, we had also started asking around about a summer Art Camp counselor position for him. Apparently art was becoming a thing.
