Ellen Ray Beck’s birthday book — May 10, 2016
Barbara Beck sent Danielle two photographs of Ellen Ray Beck’s small birthday book. One shows the book’s embossed floral cover. The second shows the May 10 page with a handwritten family birth notation. Barbara explained that this was Danielle’s page in her mother’s birthday book and that John Beck later added the printed surname “Beck” in his later years.
Barbara connected the page to Ellen’s age when Barbara was born, writing that Danielle was approaching the age Ellen had been when she “started over again” with another child.
Birthday-eve image
A separate May 10 birthday-eve message contains a contemporary photograph of plumeria/frangipani blossoms in a bowl. That image is not an old family-history photograph and does not need further identification.
“Blast from the Past” — June 2, 2016
Barbara sent two additional older family photographs without captions or names:
- FullSizeRender.jpg — an outdoor multigenerational group: three adults, one infant, and another older adult seated at a patio table.
- IMG_1794.JPG — an older man seated indoors with two young children, one on his lap and one beside him.
The original email says only “Blast from the Past” and supplies no identities or dates. This source therefore keeps those photographs unidentified rather than guessing from appearance.
Status: all surviving 2016 attachments in this recovery batch have been reviewed. The two June family photographs remain identification leads, not missing-file leads.
