Thought of Lani yesterday. She would be pleased to know that Boulder CO has it’s on Pux Phil, who’s actually a stuffed yellow-bellied marmot that they put out in the sun to see if he sees his own shadow. A mouse-chewed stuffed marmot is actually kinda fun. Anyway, happy birthday Lani!
Thanks so much for the Christmas photo and lovely holiday bauble. There are little Danielle-gifted holiday pieces all around our house on Christmas. You are thoughtful, kind, and organized enough to get stuff in the mail — amazing. Lani was also an excellent gifter; the nice raspberry small quilt she sent that last holiday still lives on one of our living room chairs. We also played your dad’s Christmas tunes CD he sent last year — visiting family really liked it.
I hope Mindy’s wedding went wonderfully and her life it smooth, happy, and on track. Do you happen to know if she got the knives I sent? They are my favorite knives to pare and chop with here — vegetarians do a lot of chopping and dicing, you know.
I still keep up every few weeks with the Dinosaur blog, very fun. Best to each and all of you, and a special shout-out to that charming husband of yours.
