Squaw Valley (former Olympic winter games site about 35 miles from Reno).................. every ski area has blowing dust on the slopes. It has been like 7 degrees at night but nearly 60 during the day. Last year at this time, Squaw Valley had 23 feet as a base. I have had to water twice a week DURING CHRISTMAS SEASON to keep everything from dying. Totally bizarre. No snow in the forecast, either. - pz
