The sister in law of grace zeimet was Anna Zeimet-Kirk. She died in a flu epidemic around WWI and had a pack of kids. Jo is a dead ringer for Anna and of course Sue Hughes in Ft. Collins named her child Anna that Jo lived with for so long. She was the one your grandma bought bears for. Grace sort of had them to contend with, too. When you turn off the paved highway off Pringle and head to the Zeimet Ranch, you go through the Kirk ranch first and then over the cattle-guard car gate then into the Zeimet property. They sort of lived at their own place, but grandmother Zeimet assumed the maternal role with them. They were at the store about half the time. -pz
