Recovered original email from Peter Zeimet. Peter’s authored text is preserved verbatim. Original attachment name: satellite ranch.
It is a satellite image of the ranch. It is basically the green valley below noon on the clock.........you can see a slight area of red dirt and that is where the old ranch house was. NOW DIRECTLY IN THE MIDDLE, you can see a L shaped valley lying on its back. That is the Sager place. The old ranch road leads into the main ranch from about 11 o'clock through the Kirk's ranch which are cousins of the Zeimets. Your mom really grew up on this place, so I thought this would be a good picture for you to have. Les (the Dave Zeimet Family) basically had the property between the Sager place and the main zeimet ranch now called the Jim Zeimet ranch. - pz
What the original attachment shows
The surviving satellite ranch.jpg attachment has now been opened and reviewed. It is a printed/saved screenshot from a GlobeXplorer/ImageAtlas satellite-view interface. The map is oriented with a “Pan North” control at the top and “Pan South” at the bottom, which makes Peter’s clock-face directions in the email useful for reading the terrain. The image shows a broad green-and-brown mountainous/valley landscape with repeated GlobeXplorer watermarks across the map.
No property lines or family names are drawn directly onto the image, so the Zeimet ranch, Sager place, Kirk ranch, old ranch house site, and road locations remain identified through Peter’s written description rather than by invented visual labels.
Status: original Gmail attachment recovered and visually reviewed.
