I don’t have good news to report. This morning two more chest tubes were added and her kidneys are starting to fail. The OSRA infection is spreading and is not responding to the antibiotics.
The docs give her a 20% chance of making it, and it’s decreasing rapidly.
We have given instructions that if her heart stops no heroic measures will be taken. We’ve also given instructions that if her blood pressure falls below a certain point, more drugs will not be pushed.
This is very hard for all of us and we appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers — we’re going to need them very much in the next 48ish hours.

Danielle,I am so sorry, but please do not give up hope, my mom only had a 10% chance of making it when she got bacterial menengitis, all of her organs failed, her body was septic, she was on feeding tubes and a ventilator. Your mom may pull through this. Please call me if I can do anything for you. We are praying for her recovery.

Danielle-I’m so sorry to hear about your mother. Please let me know if there is anything I can do for you or your family. It was just 20 months ago that my mom was in a coma, the Doctors weren’t sure if she was going to make it. She pulled through and am hoping your mom does too. Your mom has always been a very strong women. Please tell your Dad and Mindy that I’m thinking of them as well.Marnie
