Life With Boys

The mis-adventures of two crazy boys and their bleary eyed parents.

  • Like a tick about to pop …

OK — snow/ice day finally lets up enough to let the boys play out in the sleet. Realize as I’m getting snow clothes on that the boys that they have grown since last winter and getting the too small snow pants on is a bit of struggle. (Note to self — get new snow clothes… Continue reading

  • Post Thanksgiving Check-In

Thanksgiving has come and gone — which is OK by me. Luckily Great Grandpa Albert Oser is out of the ICU (we are led to believe he had a reaction to medication more than a week ago — and it was not looking good for a while there, but he surprises us again). The boys… Continue reading

  • Happy Halloween!

A very happy Halloween from Tyler (the puppy) and Morgan (the gorilla). Of course we were finished Trick-Or-Treating by 6 p.m. so on a whim we drove up to Carlinville (about 1.5 hours) to surprise Matt’s parents — and they were happily surprised. Continue reading

  • In search of the most sincere pumpkin …

OK — we took the boys to the pumpkin patch — of course forgetting it had been raining for a week and pumpkin patches tend to be a bit muddy. But on we trek. And it seems we weren’t the only ones with the bright idea to head over to the pumpkin patch — they… Continue reading

About Me

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week.  Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
