Life With Boys

The mis-adventures of two crazy boys and their bleary eyed parents.

  • A week with the Oser’s …

Not sure where the time has gone — somewhere between swim lessons, cub scouts, figuring out what is for dinner and finding colder weather clothes time has just slipped by. So here’s a brief summary. I applied for graduate school at Lindenwood University. I’m looking at the MA in digital media and I can pull… Continue reading

  • Into the woods …

This past weekend we went on our first “official” boy scout family camp-out and a good time was had by all. In preparation for this notable event Morgan and I made a pilgrimage to Uncle Sam’s (the local Army surplus store) where we were clearly not the typical clientele — but alas we found what… Continue reading

  • Checking in …

Between the extra focus on reading, letter sounds, math and who knows what else and trying to get stuff up on eBay I’ve been a very bad blogger as of late. SO here’s the current report … Tyler is working very diligently and getting very good at earning candy corns from me. Grandpa Oser has… Continue reading

  • THE Parent Teacher Conference …

This would be more aptly names the Patent Teacher Conference Disaster, but I didn’t want to scare you. • The Sunburn Report Day 4 …

Went to the Valley of the Temples (in the liquid sunshine) and then we drove up the coast a bit. Even saw a turtle stick his head out of the water, but it looks like a rock in the photo so I’ll spare you. Today we catch a plane to Kauai. Continue reading

  • The Sunburn Report Days 1 and 2 …

Here’s a few shots of our VA-Cay so far. All is well. Hawaii is beautiful. Will post more later. Continue reading

  • Learning more things the hard way …

See, aren’t you glad to have me as an informant. I get to learn everything the hard way and then pass the knowledge I’ve gleaned on to you. Today’s lesson — the importance of furnace and air conditioning servicing Seems an air conditioner needs to be serviced every year — if you do this it… Continue reading

  • Another photo service you need to know about …

I’ve been investigating making photo slide shows and came across Smilebox — it looks awesome and easy to use — give it a shot. Continue reading

About Me

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week.  Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
