Life With Boys

The mis-adventures of two crazy boys and their bleary eyed parents.

  • OMG How are we at the end of July already?

I have no idea where the time is going … I just had one of those moments where I realized I’m wearing shoes, but I’m not certain how they got on my feet … does that give you any insight into my frame of mind. Right now I’m on a break for my Internet Culture… Continue reading

  • Checking in …

So here we are a week into June, the boys are out for the summer and waterfights have been raging. So, plans for summer? A couple weeks of art camp, lots of day care field trips, an excursion to Canada and coping with St. Louis in the summer. (Gotta love humidity!) For me, another class… Continue reading

  • What’s a lunatic?

Apparently while I was in San Francisco the Billy Joel song with the line “a lunatic you’re looking for” came on and Morgan asked Matt what a lunatic was — to which he replied — a crazy person — “oh, like Mommy.” I think that sums it all up, even my 6-year-old thinks I’m nuts.… Continue reading

  • Boyisms …

Morgan wants to know where his roller skates are, I am on the phone and trying to get the computer to behave, “What roller skates?” “You know Mom the flat things that go on your feet with four wheels.” Still don’t know WHERE the skates are though. Tyler upon coming out the bathtub wanted to… Continue reading

  • Easter 2010

Notice that our Easter ended up with two boys covered in enough mud to warrant a bath and laundry before we could even get back into the car. Continue reading

  • More Morgan Logic …

Last night Matt and I discovered our alarm clock had been changed. This morning Morgan asked if we had more time. Why? He reset the clock in order to get more “but instead, I think we got less.” And by the way — in case you were wondering, the Cat has gotten more aggressive in… Continue reading

About Me

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week.  Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
