  • Santa came early …

Santa came early for me this year! This afternoon Matt surprised me with tickets to go see White Christmas (the musical). I guess everyone has been in on the secret for a bit now — and I nearly messed it all up when I started looking for tickets. The show was fantastic! But of course… Continue reading

  • Holiday Greetings 2009

This year has been one of eating an elephant one bite at a time. It has been a quiet-ish year (for us any way) and that is just fine with me. But the last time I wrote that I ended up in the hospital as soon as the cards were in the mail. So what… Continue reading

Morgan’s class did “You’re A Grand Old Flag” while the second grade performed the “Navy Ham” (You know “Anchor’s aweigh my boys, Anchor’s aweigh”) There is no telling that boy that it’s a hymn, not a ham. “But you’re wrong… Continue reading

  • It’s always something with that one …

Tucking Morgan in during the wee hours before dawn I told him I loved him “all the way to the moon and back.” “But Mom, what about Pluto.” Fine Pluto then. Continue reading

  • Four bears in the bed and the little one said …

Four bears in the bed and the little one said … roll over, my head hurts. Yes, Tyler went down with a fever yesterday (but is fine today) and about 3 this morning Morgan decided he wouldn’t be left out, our outdone and today is sick as well. And now my head is killing me… Continue reading

About Me

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week.  Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
