Life With Boys

I’ve fallen off on my blogging in a major way … I am disappointed in myself. It was so much easier to create a quick post when I was sitting at a computer all day … with teaching I’m at a computer, but not for myself. So, what’s going on with the Oser family?

Matt – Contemplating plans for the revised deck. At this point I think we will wait for fall so we don’t die of heat exhaustion while trying to get it done. The trick is to come up with a smaller footprint while remaining usable. Other than that he’s started his Boeing golf season (and that is all I know about that).

Tyler – Keeping busy with Boy Scouts and counting the days until school is over. He played the clarinet this year in band, there remains some room for improvement. Right now he’s sitting beside me watching Pacific Rim (and no matter what move we watch he builds a version of the robot/beast/transformer out of legos/bionicle bits – he’s pretty good at it too.)

Morgan – Well being cute is the only thing that keeps me from killing him some days. Everything is an argument and it makes me crazy.  He’s been busy driving Tyler up the wall (one of these days he’s going to deck him and I’m going to laugh).

Me – Well I am in between.  I’ve finished teaching for Spring semester and will  pick-up an evening class in July. I love teaching, the students are constantly teaching me something new. Now, if I could just in somewhere as more than an adjunct.  I’ll just keep working my network, but it is a pain.  In the meantime I’ve been trapped by the dust bunnies in the basement (although I think I am close to winning the battle), getting stuff listed on eBay and generally trying to catch-up with everything I’ve let slide. Speaking of which … the dryer buzzer is going off, again.
