OMG where has the summer gone – the boys will start school again on August 10th and I’m in a blur.
To accommodate daycare needs this summer the boys have been going to camps – all over the place – which means my schedule is constantly changing, it’s been an adjustment. They have done everything from Flight Academy, Invention Camp and Young Detectives to three different art camps and puppets next week. Oh – and one cannot forget Camp Oser where the boys fished, played and generally destroyed Grandma and Grandpa’s house for a while. We intentionally decided to avoid the sports camps (due to heat, and lack of desire/ability). I’m glad we did – the heat/humidity has been miserable.
On top of that I’m now an Adjunct Professor at Lindenwood teaching graduate level marketing/promotions one night a week in Belleville (Illinois). I’m still getting adjusted to the teaching thing, but so far so good. (Ask me again in a few weeks when their first papers are due.) And oh yeah, I’m still trying to work in my Grandma book when I can. It’s coming, slowly.
We’ve had the chance to visit with several of Matt’s buddies this summer and our adventures have taken us to Little Rock, Arkansas and Naperville, Illinois.
Not sure what else is in store but I’m sure it will have us running …
