Life With Boys

The mis-adventures of two crazy boys and their bleary eyed parents.

Lessons Learned …

So yesterday I stayed home with Morgan who, as it turns out, has an antibiotic worthy ear infection.  So off to the doctor we go.  After the appointment I decided to make the most of our 20 non-raining minutes to move some plants around.  This was the conversation between us:

Morgan: Mom did you know the sun is a star and it’s really big?
Me: Yes
Morgan: I think we should grow sunflowers – they can be food and you can use the extra seeds to make more (but you have to let them dry out first.)
Me: Where are you learning all of this?
Morgan: Well Dad taught me about the sun and I learned about sunflowers from the book at school with the hyacinth on the cover.
Me: What do I teach you?
Morgan: How to dig holes.

About Me

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week.  Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
