I’m buried. Matt’s buried. And entropy is taking over.
In the process of trying to have draft of my book ready for my presentation next week (Thursday) I’ve let most everything go. And now it’s looking less and less likely I’ll have something to show for my efforts (in class anyway). And that is sooo frustrating. I’ll have the presentation done which is what I’ll be graded on, but I really wanted to have something to show for my graduate education, which in my mind was some tangible evidence of this project I’ve drug out for far too long.
It does not help that I’ve had class three times this week (instead of twice), the boys had wrestling two nights and scouts another. I had to do graduation checkout and should I also mention like an idiot I said I’d donate stuff to the bake sale, help plan the class parties and oh, by the way, Tyler’s birthday is tomorrow. Yeah, nothing is wrapped, I’m not even exactly sure what there is yet. Morgan even woke me up at 2 a.m. this morning to remind me he had yet to choose something for his brother. (Then he crawled into my bed and fell asleep.)
Oh and did I also mention Matt’s in charge of the Cub Scout carnival games at Breakfast with Santa tomorrow? And also that Morgan is a narrator in the 1st grade play in the middle of breakfast and that we’re lacking volunteers to cover the booth during the performance. And one more thing, we’re having a party for Tyler on Sunday and a whole 4 people of 15 have RSVP’d to tell me if they will be there. (What is wrong with people, a little courtesy PLEASE.)
There is no Christmas at our house yet, and there may not be any until the boys are out for break. And I must also add Matt will be out of town next week so I’ll have to pick up the slack he’s been covering for me. So if you’ll please overlook the mess and refrain from writing in the dust it would be greatly appreciated.
Please refrain from writing in the dust …
About Me
I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week. Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
