Life With Boys

The mis-adventures of two crazy boys and their bleary eyed parents.

Encouraging News …

From Tyler’s teacher:

Hi Mr. and Mrs. Oser,

Just wanted to share a story with you, as today we had our Lindenwood students in our classroom doing Shared Reading with the class. One of the students (teacher-in-training) was reading a story to the class entitled “What am I?” It is a nonfiction book that informs the students about various types of creatures.

Many of the students had things to share during the story and discussion. It was so exciting when Tyler enthusiastically used the words crustacean and arachnid to tell about pictures he saw in the text. What a thrill for the Lindenwood student to see Tyler so excited about learning!

Have a nice evening!

Mrs. Dorn

  1. Well, we already knew Tyler was special but now I know that Mrs. Dorn is also special. How wonderful that she would take the time to send a note and, of course Tyler knows what arachnids and crustaceans are — he loves science, he loves to scare his mom with all kinds of bugs, and he loves to eat crabs.

About Me

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week.  Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
