Didn’t realize I hadn’t posted in a bit — I have a reason though — I’ve been trapped on memory lane.

You see in April when I went to help my Dad get ready for his garage sale I gathered up all the negatives and slides I could find and sent them in to ScanCafe to be digitized. I knew there were a lot. What I didn’t realize was there were just over 9,800 images.

Yes 9,800 images. Thankfully I can delete up to half of them (and don’t have to pay for them). So I’ve been deleting. My Dad took lots of photos of the sky, flowers and of course cars. They all have to go. It’s a time intensive process. So that’s what I’ve been up to (and will continue to be for at least another week — I’ve deleted 3,600 so far).

In the meantime I’ve also been scanning the artwork that I’ve saved over the past few years (my file cabinet is overflowing so it is time.) My goal is to work it into the scrapbooks I have not yet started but have all the supplies to do! I have only the best intentions.
