It seems I get into “cycles” when I’m in audio book consumption mode. Last summer I listened to every Harry Potter (they are amazing to listen to and if you’ve managed to avoid HP somehow give it a try sometime, you’ll find yourself sucked in). I do this all the time — find an author I like and then get all the books they’ve written and listen to them back to back. Anyway at present I’m in Jane Austen mode — just finished Emma this morning, but so far Pride and Prejudice is my favorite. I made Matt sit through the Masterpiece Theater production of Mansfield Park the other night and just got Northanger Abbey from the library.

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week. Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
