At least 5 times a day Morgan or Tyler will tell me what they would like for their birthday, Christmas or whatever occasion they think they need a toy for. Doesn’t matter that Morgan just had his birthday or that Tyler is no where close, but time is relative.
Anyway someone asked me recently what is on my birthday wish list … Saturday is sneaking up on me so I guess I had better reply …
- If it ever stops raining I’d like to put in some more hostas and clematis in my garden or some dahlias — maybe some mini-coneflower seeds (There are always more plants on the list)
- I’d like the floor of the shower to actually look clean after I’ve cleaned it
- I want to make Morgan immune to all the diseases out there (FYI — he has viral pneumonia this time — he’s 4 and has had pneumonia 6 times now)
- Matt would tell you anything from Target
- I’ve had a self-cleaning house on the list for ages, but alas no takers on that one
I’ve already gotten my gift from Matt and the boys — an iPod shuffle so now I can listen to my audiobooks at the gym without hauling about the CD player, extra batteries and cd’s — of course I haven’t been to the gym in more than a month, but who is counting? Maybe someday the work schedule and the sick schedule will align with the stars and everything will fall back into some kind of order (but I’m not counting on it)
