Life With Boys

I’m in a marketing and writing conference ans since we’re doing media training and I know a bit about it, I’ll take a minute to update you with a bit more information than I’ve been able to share lately. OK — where to start — our trip to Utah nearly a month ago seems like as good a place to start as any.

Morgan and I had a good visit. It snowed and Morgan was delighted and forced me to wrap his feet in plastic bags so he could play — and he had a great time until he lost his spoon and realized that he was soaked. I once again acted my part as hurricane Danielle — continuing to sort through this and that — arranging pick ups and filling a lot of garbage sacks. It all started with my favorite game — just how old is the food? FYI — the eldest canned good expired in 2002 — yummy, want some?

My Job — This has been a topic of continuing exasperation. My transition into the official “marketing department” has been rocky. It’s been a struggle to establish myself with a boss who is new to the company and is generationally different from myself and the remainder of the staff. I’m still enjoying my work with websites and technology — it’s such and exciting field that changes everyday. So for now I’m just along for the ride.
