Life With Boys

The mis-adventures of two crazy boys and their bleary eyed parents.

Bake at 250 degrees for 50 minutes …

The original plan was to visit Matt’s grandpa who is in the hospital with a broken hip on Independence Day, but he wasn’t up to visitors — so we had to make it up as we went along.

I had gotten the boys t-shirts we could iron USA onto. But no, that was not enough, they wanted fireworks too. So, being the push over I am sometimes I went to the craft room and found some fabric paint.

(Did I mention this was 9 a.m. and we decided to hit some of the festivities in St. Charles at oh, 11 ish?)

So, being the crafty genius I am, I threw the shirts on a cookie sheet and shoved them in the oven (the hair dryer was taking way too long). Alas, 50 minutes later they were dry enough to wear — so long as no one tried to pop one of the bubbles.

Happy 4th of July to you.

Oh, one more thing. As we were watching the fireworks (Morgan watched from inside the truck cause it was too loud) Tyler announced “oh look here comes the personality” the what? “You know all the big ones at the end.”

About Me

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week.  Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
