My job has undergone a change — which on paper looks minimal, but in real life makes me feel like I’m starting a brand new job.
Previously I was employed by the Consulting Group and doing some work for the accounting firm. Now with the reorganization I’ll do more for the firm and still keep my consulting duties. But now I have a spiffy new title “Marketing Project Manager” AND I got to move into the cube next to the two copiers and the mail room (I think I’ll put down one of those traffic counter hose things just to see how many people pass by here in a day). But they say I will move again in a few months. Yeah?! And quite a few people are giving me that “I think I’ve seen you before but I’m not going to say anything” look. (You see I’ve been upstairs for 5 years now — and upstairs and downstairs are two completely different worlds.)
OK — now to top it off DePaul Hospital just called — it was a wrong number — but that Mom rush of anxiety is going to take a minute to wear off. I’ll assume both the boys are OK for the time being.
I have a huge deadline today so I should be doing my work. I guess I’ll get back to it, after I find out where my new mailbox is.

About Me
I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week. Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
