Life With Boys

The mis-adventures of two crazy boys and their bleary eyed parents.

The Allosaurous Skeleton

Our Jr. paleontologist discovered an Allosaurous Skeleton yesterday — and picked it up to show it to me.

“Look Mom, it has sharp teeth, do you think you could get some gloves and scrape off the fur so we can tell what kind of skeleton it is? I think it’s from the dinosaur times, maybe it’s a baby Allosaurous.”

My response to the scientific inquiry — “Oh **** I mean yuck, put that down. Don’t ever pick up skeletons again, where did you get that?” (Under the bush in case you were wondering.) (And yes, we went in and washed our hands repeatedly with Germ X after that.)

Reminder — Matt, please do something with the Allosaurous Skeleton.

About Me

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week.  Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
