OK — snow/ice day finally lets up enough to let the boys play out in the sleet. Realize as I’m getting snow clothes on that the boys that they have grown since last winter and getting the too small snow pants on is a bit of struggle. (Note to self — get new snow clothes before going to Utah.) Morgan looks like a “tick about to pop” (to quote one of my favorite holiday movies, A Christmas Story — Emmet Otter’s Jugband Christmas is another favorite, but I digress.) An hour or so later we’re frozen and tired of walking on top of the frozen ice snow — so inside we go. To discover I can’t get Morgan’s snowsuit unzipped — OK — pliers, pliers will work, or break off the zipper. OK Dad — Dad can get it undone — OK maybe not. I’ll try again, ouch, blood blister, that hurts. He’s really getting ready to pop now — I have no choice — scissors — I cut him out — no more snow for us today.
About Me
I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week. Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
