Life With Boys

The mis-adventures of two crazy boys and their bleary eyed parents.

So how does that work?

OK — When my Dad marries Marilyn (which is only a matter of time now I think) I’ll have both a step-brother and a step-sister. How does that work?

  1. It is, indeed, very weird acquiring new sibs as an adult. You don’t even get half a childhood together to try and form some kind of relationship.I acquired three “bonus siblings” at age 30. We exchange (small, token) Christmas prezzies, and see each other on visits home, but that’s about it. Where I make the most effort, I guess, is with Byron’s step-cousin. I try to remember her birthday, and I do want them to be friends.

About Me

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week.  Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
