FX (I think it’s FX) is looking for ideas for pilots for shows — I think they should do one called “Mommy Blog” it would be the next generation of “Sex In The City” — maybe throw in the “documentary-ish” feel of The Office.
It’s not like there isn’t enough material out there. Follow the “Granola Mom” through raising an “organic” child, the Executive turned Mom who hasn’t realized she’s no longer in an office and her blackberry carrying children. The “this is my ninth child and I don’t care if they dip their Popsicles in ant hills as long as they don’t want me to do anything about it” Mom.
It’s the stuff chick lit is making millions from. And I of course will not see a penny of it.

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week. Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
