It appears that Matt’s day of hard labor in combination with pinching something moving a railroad tie a few weeks ago was just the right combination to give him a weekend in bed.
It started Friday morning when out the blue, Matt was on the bathroom floor — he’d thrown out his back. We thought he would be able to sleep it off and I headed off to work. By the time I got there Matt was calling to have me get in touch with the Dr. and to head home — and thus started our weekend.
Now, here we are Mother’s Day morning — the boys are busy pouring pine cones in the sandbox under the supervision of Pat and Mike (Matt’s parents) who have been down since Friday night when I realized I needed more help.
Matt is showing some improvement — at least he can get to the bathroom now, but full recovery seems far off at this point.
I in the meantime have been working like crazy to get the website we’ve been developing for two years ready for a preview TOMORROW. It’s not quite there yet, but I’ll cut this short so I can get back to work.
Hope everyone has a wonderful Mother’s Day, or Sunday or whatever you feel like celebrating today.

About Me
I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week. Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
