Life With Boys

The mis-adventures of two crazy boys and their bleary eyed parents.

Cribs don’t convert to toddler beds in 30 minutes …

You would think we would have learned the first time, but no.

At about 6:30 p.m. we started the conversion from crib to toddler bed. Instigated by the fact that Morgan has been pretending to be Spiderman for a few days and the crib just seemed like a hazard now. It actually took much longer than we thought for us to need to make the change as Tyler was out at 9 months.

By 7:45 Matt just about had it back together and we both took a moment of silence to realize our crib days are officially over. Plus, it doesn’t help that Mom painted Pooh scenes on both ends of the crib and spending that much time with them gets to be really hard.

Tyler immediately helped out by finding Morgan an official pillow and blanket (compliments of his bed) and our toddler climbed in like it was nothing.

Except now he has free reign in his room — which in itself is mighty dangerous.

And, he is now compelled to throw himself at the door at least once an hour to remind us he’s there and is not happy with the closed door situation.

Tough.

About Me

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week.  Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
