Life With Boys

The mis-adventures of two crazy boys and their bleary eyed parents.

Lani Obituary …

LaNonne (Lani) LiAnne Beck (nee Solomon) died January 6, 2006 after complications of pneumonia and a staph infection at the age of 60.

She was born February 2, 1945 in Glendale, California to AraBelle (Solomon) Zeimet and James L. Solomon. Lani was raised in South Dakota by her mother AraBelle and step-father Peter Zeimet from the time she was 4 years old.

As a woman who lived life to the fullest, friends and family near and far will miss Lani. Her loss will resonate through the Park City and the real estate communities.

Lani was a Mom to everyone who knew her — teaching countless Girl Scouts to sew, lending a willing ear and open heart to anyone in need and a shoulder to cry on.

When she wasn’t helping out the world, she was exploring it — with travels to exotic locations including Tahiti, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, Hawaii and countless other beaches.

Surviving are her husband David Beck of Park City, Utah; two daughters and their husbands, Danielle (nee Beck) and Matt Oser of St. Louis, Missouri and Mindy (nee Beck) and Brian Krall of Heber City, Utah; sister Mary Jo Zeimet of Bellingham, Washington and brother Peter Paul Zeimet of Reno, Nevada; and her four grandchildren: Tyler and Morgan Oser and Taylor and Hailey Krall.

She is preceded in death by her parents and step-father Peter Zeimet of Edgemont, South Dakota.

The community is invited to a celebration of her life on her birthday February 2, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Beck residence, 1422 Cutter Lane; Park City, Utah.

A website in her memory can be accessed at http://lanibeck.memory-of.com.

Memorials may be made to The Lani Beck Memorial Medical Fund at Wells Fargo Bank.

About Me

I started this site so my mom could get news about her grandkids without me having to walk her through the process of trying to open and email attachment several times a week.  Since then she has passed away and I’ve fallen off the blog wagon, but I’m inspired to pick it up again now.
