Yeah – Grandma and Grandpa had the kidos overnight so it was DATE NIGHT! We being movie deprived, went to see Red Eye – which was surprisingly good considering I had never even heard of it – that’s not saying much – if it’s not on Noggin or Disney, I probably don’t know about it.
The “argument” of the evening was about refreshments of course. He wants to share a drink, I want my own. He doesn’t even like popcorn, I can’t see a movie without it. I won, 2 large sodas and 1 large popcorn and one concession peanut butter M&Ms for him. We’re an exciting couple I know.
Tonight the kids will be returned, exhausted from their day with Grandma and Grandpa and our date night will be but a memory, but that’s OK, at least we have the memory.
